Day 01 and 02

I am watching Morning Musume Concert Tour 2006 Spring. And the first song is "How Do You Like Japan?" Which is totally ace I must say.

Day 01 - Wednesday 13th September
So anyway. I woke up at like 4:15 in the morning, and jumped in the shower, then onto my laptop to search for an old email from waffle...

Left at 5:00am to the airport, and after checking in to Virgin stopped at maccas for breakfast. Plane to Sydney wasn't overly exciting. I sat and read HPI...

Got into Sydney, then jumped onto the train to the international terminal, tried to check in, but we were too early...

MKy mum grabbed something to eat, and I had myself a drink.

Eventually we were able to check in, so we did, and walked around Sydney for a bit and ended up buying a book (Hunter S Thompson - Hells Angels). Called Marisa, then headed to our plane...
At the gate, there were a large number of Japanese people, but quite a few of them were all drinking VB stubbies. At 11 in the morning. On a Wednesday. I like these people.

Was a JAL airline, so all bar 6 of us were Japanese. One of the stewardesses looked like Joey, so I lolled.

Got in to Kansai Airport at 8:00pm local (9:00pm EST) Got off the plane, then onto a rail system thingy, and to the main terminal, where we picked up our bags, and went straight through customs...

Found the bus we needed and an hour later we were at our hotel. As we got to our floor, I passed a vending machine, so as soon as I dropped my bags off I ran back to play with it.

My brother called and we had a chat to him, then I ran back to the vending machine. Not before telling him that there was a mchine that sells beer.

Come back, and fall asleep

Day 02 - Thursday 14th September

Early start due to mum still being on EST time, we headed downstairs where we grabbed breakfast...I got some rice and some other stuff that I wasn't to sure on...

Checked out of the hotel, then went to Osaka Station where we picked up our JR passes and put our bags in a locker, and decided to head to Shinsaibashi...the only problem was we didn't really know how to get there...

Asked the info desk, and got instructions (go to Umeda station and go on the train) got there and was like "wtf?" and sat there staring at the map, when a woman came up and helped us. Then got a ticket and stared at the machine for a bit before figuring it out.

Figured it out, and got on the train. I followed waffle's helpful map, and found Book-Off, where I bought some stuff, then walked around and found a Hundred Yen store, and bought some Qoo (OH YEAH)
Walked down past the Maccas, and saw a Rockabilly (which made me happy), then back up the other way to the Hello!Project Offical Store.

Waffles advice was "take the paper and pencil, then you write it down" except when I got it, I didn't know what the hell to write...eventually figured it out and bought some photos, a rokuten eagles phonehanger and the GAM single.

Got to play the spinny thingy, but I lost and didn't get a free photo :(

Back to Osaka to grab our bags, then off to Shin-Osaka to jump on the Shinkansen to Hiroshima. Unfortunately we got on at Cabin 7, instead of 1 - 3, but figured it out soon enough. Made it into Hiroshima, and our hotel was attached to the station, which made it even easier for us.

Dropped our bags off went for a walk through the stations, and grabbed some maccas (and White Grape Qoo which wasn't so great...) we sat down inside, near some guy smoking...

Finished, then went for a walk around Hiroshima, then came back and worked out what we were doing in Hiroshima. Ordered something to eat, then I went for a walk to find a bottleshop.

Came back up and met the room service guy. Ate then passed out.
